Here is a list of services I offer
PlanningIncludes: Client Meetings, Project clarification, Research, and Information Architecture
Every successful project starts with solid planning. There are many important factors to consider during project planning including target audience, content, goals and deadlines. Many of these areas can be researched by viewing competitors websites, comparing products, user survey’s and market analysis. It can be beneficial to break projects down into multiple phases to isolate and organize objectives and deadlines.
CreativeIncludes: Concepts, Sketches, Mockups, Presentation, Reviews and Revisions
Once all of the research has concluded it’s time to convert all of that information into sketches, mock-ups and other visual representations. All creative items should be an accurate reflection of all the information gathered during the planning phase. There will also be reviews and revisions during this phase. Sketches and wireframes are usually a good start to a project and can be the basis for website mockups and design layouts.
ProductionIncludes: Development, Programming, Feedback and Revisions
Production means it’s time to get down and dirty. Most projects require some sort of CMS (content management system), so one of the first steps will be to set up hosting and install a CMS or other platform. Site mockups are coded into HTML/PHP + CSS and formatted for the correct CMS application. Production also offers additional time for revisions since the website will be viewable through a browser for the first time.
DeploymentIncludes: Debugging, Testing, and Project launch
Once a website has been designed and programmed, it’s time to test debug and make any final corrections. It’s important to toughly test a website before launch to account for spelling errors, functionality bugs and usability problems. Website launches are the final step in the process, making your website viewable to the public for use.
